Automated Follow Up Emails — Powered by BackEngine!

Our automated emails help you save time on follow up emails and help you uphold a standard of following up quickly after calls.

We just launched automated follow up emails! This is the first of many autonomous agents we plan to release in the near future.

Important notes: Follow up emails are generated after any external calls you have with an account that is being monitored by BackEngine.   The email template is customizable (and customization is encouraged) so that we can generate material that is in line with your style and post-call best practices.

We just launched a new feature called Prepare & Respond that I think your team will love. It automatically sends you a prep brief 30 minutes before any customer meeting with all the context you need - recent interactions, open issues, sentiment changes, and suggested talking points - so you walk into every call prepared without lifting a finger. Then right after the meeting ends, it drafts a professional follow-up email summarizing what was discussed, action items, and next steps, cutting your post-call work from 20 minutes down to 2.

Salesforce integration!

Now you can connect BackEngine to salesforce, automating and powering your execution intelligence.

BackEngine connects to Salesforce using standard OAuth 2.0 authentication - you click a link, grant permissions through Salesforce's secure interface, and we're connected. The entire integration is built in-house with no third-party tools involved. Setup takes about 15-30 minutes.

What Data We Access

From Salesforce, BackEngine reads: • Account information and details • Opportunity data and pipeline stages • Contact records and relationships • Activity history related to customers

We only access data about the customer accounts you designate for monitoring. Your internal Salesforce data, employee records, and non-customer information remain completely separate.

Two-Way Sync Capability

BackEngine offers optional two-way sync with Salesforce: • Read: Pull account, opportunity, and contact data into BackEngine • Write: Push updates back to Salesforce (optional - you control this)

This means BackEngine can both learn from your CRM data and update it with insights discovered from customer conversations.

When you log in to BackEngine today, you may notice a slight change, as we have officially rolled out the new concept of Roles. Roles were designed to help you get really specific about the things that you care about and refine the signals you see across the platform.

The impact: High signal relevance: We want the signals you see to have incredibly high relevance to your specific role. You’ll also be able to toggle between different roles and see a laser-focused view of what your colleagues care about. Reducing redundancies: You should expect to see less instances of multiple signals being generated from the same source. You will see one interpretation of the source information at a time, presented in the context that is most pertinent to you.
